Often I feel uncomfortable when friends or acquaintances say to me that they admire me for growing a successful business. It’s not that I don’t feel accomplished it is just that I “get on with it,” meaning I simply do what has to get done and don’t even have a minute to reflect on the success that I built. I am not sure that they are aware of all the behind the scenes that goes on or the nights that I spend in the office rather than going out or sitting by the TV watching the latest shows. In fact, at a recent meeting two colleagues were discussing a show and I kind of felt that I had fallen from mars as I really do not watch TV at night. After I put my younger kids to bed you’ll find me back in the office until midnight.
