I love packing. It means that I am about to fly or drive or in this case sail away for some hard earned time off. My OCD kicks in and I am in organizing heaven, armed with a packing list and smart space-saving techniques, like rolling up socks and stuffing them in my shoes.
I also hate packing. Debating for hours about whether I need my navy hoodie or my black cardigan? Five tee-shirts or seven? My running shoes or cross trainers? Have I over-packed or under-packed?
Packing for a cruise is particularly tricky. No relying on “If I forgot it, I can just run into Wal-Mart.” Sure, the store onboard the ship will most likely have what you need but it will be over-priced.
So whether you love or hate packing, know that what you bring – or more importantly, what you forget to pack – can impact how much you spend and/or enjoy your cruise.
To help you out, I have put together this handy-dandy printable packing list of things to pack for a cruise that will save you money and ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing, pleasurable and memorable cruise vacation.
